Text Messages Shortened
ShowingTime recently shortened the length of text messages (SMS) showing agents receive when a showing is confirmed, so now only the most important details are presented – on one screen – instead of in three or four separate messages.
The key information is still there: address, date, and time of the showing. Additional details about the listing are easily accessible via a link in the text message.
Private Instant Messaging
Did you know the ShowingTime mobile app includes a private, instant messaging feature? Listing agents can contact their seller and vice versa, while showing agents with confirmed appointments can alert both the listing agent and the seller if they’re 1) going to be early to a showing, 2) are running late, or 3) have completed the showing.
Confirmation Required or Not?
Agents are now provided with a key detail about a listing BEFORE they submit their appointment request: will their request require a confirmation from another person?
Auto-confirmations are ideal for agents putting together a day of showings, because they know immediately which listings are confirmed. Occasionally, when a listing requires a person to confirm the request – the listing agent or the seller – agents might not include that listing in their tour since it may take a little time to get the confirmation.
When are Showing Instructions Revealed?
Listing agents and sellers alike will be glad to know that showing instructions are made available to showing agents only after the showing is confirmed.
Sellers Can Sync to Their Calendars, Too
Sellers can have showings automatically added to their calendars via the sync tool in the ShowingTime mobile app. This convenient feature means their calendars will update automatically when an appointment moves from ‘requested’ to ‘confirmed’.
