According to a recent National Association of REALTORS® survey, 94 percent of agents communicate with clients using a mobile device, spending a median 44 percent of their time corresponding with and doing work for their clients on mobile devices.

That number is likely to continue climbing. With more and more residential real estate agents using smartphones with wireless email and internet capabilities to conduct business, it makes sense that things they do every day — like requesting and confirming showings — would be easy to do on a mobile device.

If your MLS doesn’t yet offer mobile access, it’s probably in the works. Likewise, if your showing vendor is worth its weight, you’ll be enabled to request and confirm showings, manage your listings and feedback, and communicate with sellers fluidly — from your phone.
