In mid-July, Intermountain MLS based in Boise, Id., went live with ShowingTime for the MLS for its 5,000 members. Now licensed by 92 MLSs and used on 1.2 million active listings, the online scheduling system includes patented technology to streamline the appointment scheduling process, resulting in quick or instant showing confirmations and less phone tag.
IMLS member Linda took advantage of it immediately, and felt compelled to write about it.
“Just wanted to tell you I used ShowingTime for the first time for 10 showings I had last Saturday – and the system is AMAZING!!!! It was soooo easy to use and not confusing at all,” she said.
“Comments I received from all of the listing agents were “wow – this is amazing”, most hadn’t read the IMLS notification about this system,” she added. “I am IMPRESSED to say the least – what a great addition to our IMLS platform.”
As Linda experienced, pointing and clicking to schedule showings can be a great time saver. After submitting a request, notifications are sent immediately.
“It saved me at least an hour-and-a-half, due to not having to make phone calls, leave messages and go on Mapquest,” she said. “All I can say is THANK YOU!! I love it!
